Reopening Schools District Information On January 14, 2021, the Board of School Trustees approved two components of the Reopening Our Schools Plan. First, they approved a Memorandum of Agreement between the District and the Clark County Education Association to transition to the hybrid instructional model for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3. As announced on Wednesday, January 27th, this transition will begin March 1, 2021, for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3 students. Please see the below information regarding the return to the classroom. All safety and health protocols must be effectively implemented to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19. In regard to protocols and processes that must be followed while students and staff are at school, please see the guidelines in the Plan to Transition to the Hybrid Instructional Model. The instructional model for the District remains full-time distance education during the implementation of the Hybrid Model for PK-3. Students in grades 4th and 5th will remain full-time distance education learning for students.
